After consistently maintaining the #1 position of his time slot year after year in the Cincinnati area, McConnell's program began syndication on July 31, 2006.
McConnell also hosts the nationally syndicated radio talk show called "The Weekend", developed in 1998 to feature different rotating guest hosts weekly, and is distributed by Premiere Radio Networks. He took over as permanent host on April 5, 2004.
