Jim Rome's radio show takes calls and emails from listeners, and features interviews of notable sports personalities. The show is broadcast live from 9 a.m. to noon Pacific time (noon to 3 p.m. Eastern). The show airs on more than 185 radio stations each weekday and boasts more than two million listeners known as "The Clones" who live and breathe for Rome's "take" on the day's larger issues of sport. It is his departure from conventional sports talk that has resulted in Rome's unique connection with his listeners.
